Year In Review: 2015

Now that 2015 is behind us, I thought it would be a good idea to recap what we accomplished last year, so here goes...

For starters, let's point out that our first meeting was held just 4 months ago and, personally, I think we have made tremendous progress in that time. Since that first meeting we have:

When considering that all of the legal work with the establishment of Counterpoint was carried out ourselves in true DIY spirit, I'd say that so far this project has been successful in it's goal to encourage learning from each other and practicing self-reliance. Furthermore, now that Counterpoint is a "legitimate" charitable organization with a strong core membership, we can focus all of our energy into reaching our goals in 2016!

The next major milestone for Counterpoint will be opening our space. We have already begun searching for the right space and according to our research, we only need 6 more members to afford the monthly costs of our first space. We are quite confident that we will reach this goal imminently and that's why we have already begun planning our regular event schedule for classes and workshops.
